The belay is suitable for sport climbing and multi-pitch climbing . PINCH is the first device on the market that can be attached directly to a climbing harness , eliminating the need for an additional clip with a nut. This also prevents the possibility of rotation and cross-loading of the carabiner.


It is equipped with a system that helps to brake in the event of a co-climber falling and blocks the rope. The lever allows you to control the speed of lowering the rope . It has two swoosh options. In addition to the release lever, you can also control the speed by pressing the brake lever, which improves control of the brake line, especially when using thin, soft lines. The anti-panic function provides additional security not only for beginners. A special feature is the built-in second braking stage, which enables a controlled descent with an additional pull of the descent lever when protecting particularly light persons or in systems with high rope friction. Experienced users can permanently deactivate the anti-panic function with the included screw.

Due to its low position close to the body, the PINCH does not require a fixed installation when releasing the rope and the brake rope can always be well gripped with all fingers. In addition, the protection system allows for a longer throw of the rope by 20-30 cm at a time . Linear rope routing through the front steel brake grooves minimizes rope entanglement during descent and abseiling.

An additional plus: when used on multi-stretch lengths, the PINCH is the only device on the market that can be attached to the belay in four different 90° directions. This allows the safety lever to always be in a position where it can be operated freely.
